afuller: rain in LA is very similar to rain in Seattle, except warmer

afuller: in LA when the temperature drops below 65 everything thinks it’s freezing outside; I have no sympathy
imjay: just back from the Getty Villa in Malibu, enjoyed all the Dionysian tchotchkes, and also especially the Cycladic doohickeys
imjay: working towards a detente with my 5yr old nephew who doesn’t like us staying in my folk’s guest room (my old room) which he claims as *his*
afuller: palm springs is the land of s’s; here you can snooze, swim, sun, see, snog, snack, and snarf
imjay: saw synechode, new york in rancho mirage, over by palm springs, part of being on the way to LA, though I’m currently inside a coffee bean
afuller: just landed in PSP — warm, dark, & deserty, and free wi-fi at the airport; a nice start to vacation!
imjay: looking forward to some downtime in the land of ps-I-love-you & lala, followed by a traditional thanksgiving meal of bagels and cream cheese
