			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I just came across Michael Chabon&#8217;s essay, <a href="http://www.michaelchabon.com/archives/2005/03/the_mysteries_o.html">The Mysteries of Berkely</a>. It brings back many fine and funny memories of the town where I practically lived (well, lived in bookstores, libraries, and <a href="http://www.amoebamusic.com">Amoeba</a>), 1-2 days a week, for six years, back in my librarian days.</p>
<p>Cousin Kate just moved to Berkeley, and I&#8217;m looking forward to visiting again. It&#8217;s always great to think one can go to Berkeley and still find <em>Berkeley</em> there <img src='http://fineandfull.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
