Cousins Camping 2012
We just got back from our 5th Annual Cousins Camping! We had a great time — spent the weekend at Penrose Point State Park, which is on Mayo Cove and Carr Inlet (Puget Sound), west of Gig Harbor, but on the next peninsula over. It was all of our first time visiting the park — and it’s definitely one Jay and I will be returning to in the future. Nice beaches, great walking trails, beautiful old growth trees, and an easy drive from Seattle.
We had a large turnout again: 17 adults and 9 children! Yea!
I just posted a photoset to Flickr with a selection of photos that I took. Unfortunately because of some people’s comings and goings, we didn’t get a group photo this year, and I wasn’t super diligent about bringing my camera with me, or getting a photo of everyone, but this gives you a feeling for the weekend.
